Some days, you are usually handed some waiting time. One can actually capitalize this time by reading, making important phone calls or if possible, working out (walking, light jogging, stretching).

This New Year, I decided to focus on only one thing. And I am thrilled that I did! I know that if I can make a significant improvement in this one area, all other areas of my life will dramatically improve!

Yesterday evening I was bombarded with so many decisions to make. Some of these decisions required discussion. My temptation was to leave them till the next day.
However, I decided to tackle them and respond to most of them with an opportunity for my colleagues to give further input. There were two items which I left a window open to follow up next day. I woke up very early this morning and had a clear answer for the remaining two.
I learned that if you attend to things you pave the way to a solution. I believe my subconscious mind went to work last night.

As someone who is interested in giving you probably have heard this quote below:
“If you knew what I know about the power of giving, you would not let a single meal pass without sharing it in some way."
- Buddha (563 BC - 483 BC)
I only heard this about a year after Azim and I wrote The Power of Giving. But it eloquently states that basic principle that the more you know about giving, the more you want to share.

I had a big project I needed to get out this week. Each time I went to the project, I put it way, as it was an overwhelming exercise.
However, each time I opened the file for this project, I jotted down points or things I needed to do to complete the project.
This morning I started in a similar fashion. However, I had made up my mind to complete it, no matter what. Amazingly, two hours into it I had cracked the code and was well on my way to getting it done.

Why do we procrastinate? Some of the reasons why we procrastinate are:

What you can do today, do not postpone to tomorrow.
This is true for things of importance such as:
Many of these things do not take too much time or, for the most part, too much effort.
What you need is desire!
Without desire:

Without execution all your goals and plans don't lead to much.
There are many reasons you can find not to execute:
However, once you decide to execute and move forward things begin to happen.
Perfection slows you down. Striving for excellence is fine but not perfection.
