Focus On Your Strengths

The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to them what their own riches are.

Every person has challenges – yes some are much bigger than others.  Every person has “riches” too.  Maybe we should spend less time on the challenges and more time on expanding our talents and riches.

In the book The Answer, John Assaraf and Murray Smith suggest that you should focus on your strengths, as opposed to focusing on changing your weaknesses.  (Obviously the wise decision would, of course, depend on what the weaknesses are.)  They recommend that it is efficient to partner with others who have strengths where you have weakness, and vice versa.  This will not apply in every situation, but it strikes me as a very wise use of energy and time.
